Young Whitetails and a Red Shouldered Hawk...

The fall season is rapidly coming upon us. Along with this time of year comes increased whitetail deer activity. Here you will see mostly young bucks and does. The bucks were testing their sparing skills, not quite as exciting as the big boys a little later in the season but entertaining none the less. The Red Shouldered Hawk was an early morning find. A foggy and cool morning he offered me a couple quick snaps.

Sometimes I just have to capture the day...

These are great wildlife behavior images, Larry! I have never seen Whitetails sparring before so it's especially enjoyable to view your outstanding photographs. Cool Red-shoulder Hawk shots, too.
