Some Local Birds...

Visiting a couple of my local haunts I was able to capture a few favorites.

Three Canadian Geese coming in for a landing...

A Canadian Goose taking off...
An Eastern Bluebird gives me its backside...

And then turns and gives me the here I am side...
The exact moment I was taking this photo of a Great Blue Heron a large fish broke the surface of the pond...
The Great Blue Herons are gathering at their rookery...

Two mated Great Blue Herons pose at their nest...
A quick visit from a Mocking Bird...

A Red-winged Blackbird announces his presence...
A Robin all puffed up, it was a chilly morning...

Starlings fill the trees...
A Tufted Titmouse sets amongst the branches...
A group of Wild Turkeys feeds in a pasture a long way from the road, I had to take a photo...

A beautiful variety of local birds! Terrific photographs! It's neat to see all of the herons nests in one tree. I am especially taken with the lovely Eastern Bluebird images, as they are my favorite birds. Wonderful post, as always, Larry!

Beautiful pic's and birds. I loved to watch them when I was in CDN.

The best thing in the morning is to take your coffee and to go outside, hearing the bird songs.

So, and now I think I stay :-)))

Wishing you a great day and sending greetings

Thank you Julie. The season will bring many more.

Hi Grace and thanks. This is their annual meet and greet nesting rookery. I will be posting many shots from this place through the spring season.

Thank you Tammy. I kind of like in flight action.

Nova, thanks for the comments and becoming a follower.
