Whitetails and Hawks...

I walked the entire "Blue Blaze Trail" at the Monocacy National  Battlefield Park in Frederick County Maryland. Beside being a very relaxing and enjoyable hike, I did see some Whitetail Deer and juvenile Red-tailed Hawks. Here are a few photos.

Can you see me now peeking out from the grass? Great images of the deer. The hawk images are incredible.

Great pictures of the deer, and the hawks are just amazing. We had deer in our yard this morning and as I went to take pictures of them, the darn batteries in my camera died--It's always something isn't it? :-)

Thank you Lois, they didn't let me get by with anything. :)

Thanks a lot Kim. :)

Hey Chip, thanks, it's great when you have the advantage of seeing them first.

Thank you Bob :)

Welcome Richard, I'll be making a few preparations for the up-coming week-end storm. Make sure you do the same.

Glorious captures, Larry! The deer images are so very beautiful. How fortunate you were to see the stag, they are very elusive in our area. Fantastic hawk shots! I'm especially fond of the in-flight photographs. All are wonderful though!
