Blue Jay, Cardinal and Titmouse...

As colorful as Blue Jays are, they can still be a nuisance. Here a bold Jay is stealing cat food. This could be a very questionable adventure as evidence by the feathers on the ground. I guess we will never really know for sure. The Cardinal was actually walking (take a look at his feet) and taking  full advantage of the boardwalk. The Titmouse had located a seed pod of sorts and was making sure he got it all.

Wonderful series! My mom likes to feed the squirrels living in the oaks just outside her front door. The blue jays actually chase the squirrels away so they can steal the peanuts she puts out.

Thanks Chip, jays are tenacious critters aren't they.

TWG thank you, don't know who the feathers belonged to but looks like it was a close call.

Thanks a lot Grace :)

Lois, thank you :)

I love Blue Jays--But they do forget their manners and have 'big mouths' don't they?

Boy, don't they ever, thanks Kim :)
