Birrrrr...ds

We are experiencing some cold weather around here and our birds demonstrate this by puffing themselves up.

Birds not very co-operative, but, look at that fence...

A Black-capped Chickadee...

Eastern Bluebird...

House Finch...

Northern Cardinal...

White-throated Sparrow...
The Monocacy National Battlefield (Mill Pond Area). One of my favorite birding locations.

You've got some beautiful winter visitors, Larry! I wish the bluebirds in our area stayed through the winter months. Wonderful photographs! I like the little American Tree Sparrow between the two juncos. All lovely! Not a lot of snow where you are. Cool fence!

Wonderful shots of the different birds. That first fence has some amazing patterns in it. Your birding area looks like a great place to visit as well.

Great bird shots. I'd love to know what wood was used for the fence rails - they have a very interesting pattern.
