They had just crossed the railroad tracks and the Wild Turkeys were crossing the road out in front of me. They were in a hurry but I was able to get a few shots before they disappeared. I really got lucky with the Whitetail buck. He showed himself around the six o'clock hour, pm. I was able to take many pics of this guy, he seemed to like being around the does, tis the season you know. I don't think the rut is in yet, but there may be an early doe in heat. He wants to be there when she's ready. Cruising the country roads, a field of hay had been cut and unfortunately for some wild critter; it had received the bad side of the sickle and became vulture food. Here you will see a small gathering gorging. A little bit of trouble identifying the warbler and the sparrows. If my ids are incorrect please let me know.

Great shot of the clean up crew...handsome aren't they..lol!
When it comes to the Sparrows... unless they have a "very distinct" marking I'm useless, but they are nice photo's!!
Your Warbler is a cutie!!

A wonderful variety of nature images, Larry! We have a family of nine Wild Turkeys living on our property and it's very difficult to photograph them. You did a fine job!
The antlers on that handsome White-tailed Buck are magnificent. Too bad the young lady is not interested. Try, try again.
I believe your second sparrow is a Song Sparrow and your last two shots are of a female Common Yellowthroat. Beautiful! Always a joy to visit your blog!
loved the turkeys and the buck! wow!
Nice photos of the buck, particularly nibbling on the tree. I enjoy watching turkeys as they make their rounds. It seems like very few years ago that there were none here in the Mid Ohio Valley.

Grace, thank you. I would like to see the turkeys more often, it's always nice when I do. The buck has 6 points on one side and 5 on the other.
Thank you so much Julie for the ids on the birds. I'll make the changes right away.
Thank you Theresa :)
Nellie, thank you for the comments and the visit to my blog.
