Brown Thrasher, Canada Geese, Northern Cardinal, Eastern Bluebird, Goldfinch and a couple Doves...

The Brown Thrasher is generally a secretive bird of dense thickets and hedgerows. Often feeding on the ground, probing for insects with its long slender bill. The brown thrasher frequently sings from open exposed perches at the top of trees. I have seen them several times but these are my first photos. The pair of Canada Geese were feeding in the grasses near their nest. The Northern Cardinal was in sharp contrast of its surroundings. The Eastern Bluebird is one of my favorites. The Goldfinch stopped long enough for a quick pic. The Mourning Doves were in a mating mood.
