Sometime a morning presents unexpected gifts. Of course I believe all Gods creatures present themselves on their time not mine. I am fortunate having a number areas within a short distance of my home that provides so many wildlife opportunities. Here you will see a Belted Kingfisher, for me, a bird that has always been quite elusive. Canada Geese are quite plentiful around here but catching them in a quick exit is exciting to me. The fox was actually walking on the shoulder of a country road, coming right toward me. I stopped the truck and waited for him to come by. Well... He came by but decided to drop down into the ditch and into the woods. I was still lucky enough to get a couple of shots.

So hard to get a shot of a fox, love that his face was framed by the brush, it really captures that "in the wild" atmosphere.
